Monrovia is the 4th oldest general law town in L.A. following only Pasadena, Los Angeles and Santa Monica. The city was formally incorporated in 1887 and it has coming from orange farms with an estimated 37,000 residents. In 2010, US Census reported that city of Monrovia had a population of 36,690.
